It looks as though Ashton Kutcher will be assuming the role of our beloved late Apple co-founder Steve Jobs. The new movie is set to be an indie 'film called "Jobs", and will be directed by Joshua Michael Stem. The script is written by Matt Whiteley.
Stem also directed Swing Vote, and Neverwas, both of which received
good reviews. His intention for this movie is to go through varous important times in the life of Steve Jobs from his early days to some of his last at Apple.
The film will chronicle Steve Jobs from wayward hippie to co-founder of Apple, where he became one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of our time.
We all hope that this will be a great movie, but in case it doesn't quite work out for Ashton. Sony is doing their own movie about Jobs, based from the Biography written by Walter Isaacson.
The film is set to start production in May 2012, although there has been no date specified for a Hollywood release.
